Dissolutionaries
click image to go greenThey were the revolutionaries...psychedelic visionaries.
Boom children wallowing in the spoils of war.
But fantasy wouldn't fix a thing.
The Earth still bleeds from inaction.
Now come the dissolutionaries...the restitutionaries.
Not by choice but necessity.
Grandchildren of extravagancies wasted.
Put to task.
Mending our shattered peace and prosperity.
Healing our partisan wounds.

Appealing To The Youth

This is what Michael Ignatieff sees when he looks into the mirror.
"I want to be the leader who got this generation out to Zimbabwe, to Afghanistan, to the places where Canada can make a difference."
"The mission is a good Canadian mission, that is to support and defend a democratically elected government, the first democratically elected government Afghanistan has ever seen."
What the hell is he waiting for then? Why doesn't Michael Ignatieff pick up a gun and march his heroic ass off to Afghanistan?
Oh right! He'd rather send other people's children off to the slaughter.
I say there's a new rule in politics. If you support a push for war, you shouldn't be afraid to bleed with the troops you send to the front lines.
Great leaders die fighting for their cause.
Ignatieff is nothing but an old cowardly politcal amoeba. Somebody, quick, throw a pie in his face.

Hell No, We Won't Go!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061119/ap_on_go_co/military_draft
So much for Rumsfeld's all-volunteer army. I guess current troop levels just won't be enough to take on Iran and North Korea, all while increasing the numbers of boots on the ground in Iraq.
Here comes the slaughter of the youth...

Why You Drink Fluoride
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Bernays
In Germany, as well as France, water fluoridation is forbidden.
Nazi and Soviet prison camps once used fluoride in their water to keep inmates docile.
In Canada, Brantford was the first city to receive fluoridated water.
Back in the 80's, while Britain was in recession, Thatcher supposedly spent millions fluoridating the water in Ireland.
As a child, I receieved fluoride treatments at school during grade 1 until my dentist noticed mild dental fluorosis and advised us to stop treatments.
What do you think about that?

Stranger than Fiction
It doesn't add up.
Cheney gone hunting the day of the elections, for the first time since he shot a guy in the face.
Republicans everywhere unable to stay on message.
The Foley scandal, Pastor Ted, Macaca, Hillary's facelift...
It's one giant list of royal fuck-ups from a GOP that once campaigned like a well-oiled machine...
There's something wrong here, like they've intentionally thrown the elections.
I remember seeing Bill Kristol on The Colbert Report where he stated quite frankly that a Republican White House in '08 relied on a Democratic House in '07.
This election was about the 'real' election in two years time.
More GOP tricks to come???

Change The World
In order to create change, we must have criticism. It may be good or bad, but I personally would rather put up with the bad in order to have a chance at attaining the good. The process of sharing opinions is a very productive one, it is the process that has shaped and molded us into who we are today. As an individual you may choose to share opinions on certain issues while keeping silent on others, and you may choose to listen and absorb these ideas or disregard them. This is healthy. Yet in an opinion, you must be a demonstration of it, unless the scale is much too large and therefore unreachable. When your opinion becomes only that the other opinion is wrong, regardless of your way of being, you enter judgment. Judgment is created by fear and this fear is created by non-existent beliefs and passions. I cannot think of anything else more frustrating than not having something to be passionate about. There are no rules, that's the beauty of it, yet some people are too afraid to believe in something. When you believe, you become vulnerable to other people in that belief. With this frustration rising, their beliefs become that everyone else's are wrong. This is the very thread that is unraveling our sweater. We require just the opposite, we need support, we need love and we need to gain back the imagination we had when we were young. When someone tells me something they are passionate about or something they truly believe in, I know this makes them happy, and that's what we need...happy people! So why not give them support! Everyone has different ideas on what is passionate, successful or productive, we need to be reminded of that. We are all still little kids, we want the magic to be there, everyone does, so why don't we work together to create it.

The King's Highway No. 401
The 401 is widely considered to be North America's busiest highway, with an estimated Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT) of over 425,000 in 2004, between the Weston Road and Highway 400 interchanges in Toronto. This surpasses the Santa Monica Freeway in Los Angeles, and
several Interstate freeways in Houston, Texas.
Today the stretch of Highway 401 that passes through the Greater Toronto Area ranges from 6 to 18 lanes, and the stretch between Highway 403 and Brock Road in Pickering is thought to be the world's longest continuous stretch of highway having 10 or more lanes.

Where be the General’s

Brought to it’s knees on some-

Where be the donkey,

Who be the sheep,
Eyes covered in wool?

Another Piece Of Fascist Non-Fiction With A Colon: Why Young Canadians Should Be Wary of Stephen Harper's Conservative Party
Did you know that the Canadian Military was once one of the strongest in the world?
Did you know that the Canadian Armed Forces led the charge that helped the ally forces win WWII?
What happened? Why is our military so weak?
The NCC believes that Canada needs a strong National Defence!
Canada needs to become the strong military force we once were. Outdated equipment and inadequate supplies are not going to help us protect our sovereignty and it is not going to help us fight the war on terror!
Banning the word "Terrorist" on the CBC, and continued "Peacekeeping efforts" are not going to protect us when there is a terror assault right here in Canada.
So what are we going to do?
We need to get the message across to all of Canada that we need to have a strong military.
If our politicians can waste millions on sponsorship scandals and billions on an ineffective gun registry, then surely they can find the money to rebuild our forces and give back to Canada the strong and proud military we once had.
Contribute to the NCC’s Strong National Defence fund today, and help rebuild the once proud military tradition in Canada.

hERM aPHRODITE
Idolatry
When I see the cross,
I see a killing machine
A Roman device,
And the crucifixion
You wouldn't hang a noose,
In 24 karat gold
Around your neck,
Or where you pray
Why not a gothic cluster bomb,
On the front of your bible?
Or a Celtic dagger,
Blood tipped for Christ
The Pope says "no killing",
In the name of God
But in the name of freedom,
You can drop the bomb
Over fields of scapegoat,
And mass-produced martyrdom
Hallelujah! He has cometh!
Go now! Fetch the nail to his box!

Garbage Bag Tag
You left us with a mess, of tangled corporate tentacles, of suffering beyond belief
Cutesy humongous mansions heated with hand-me-down debt
Or cooled in the heat of summertime with cheap, easy credit
It could have been wonderful, natural and sustainable
Instead, it’s polluted, with the golden years well behind us
Isn’t that perfect, daddy remembers swimming the rivers
Just long enough for wonderful dreams
Then, in pursuit of endless consumption, free lunches and freedom 55
The rivers turned murky, some completely dried up
Mostly the fish died as a tribute to industry
The amphibian genocide following next--
A small price to pay for green grass and symmetrical gardens
We’ve got mercury in our salmon, but our smiles are so damn white
We’ve got lead in our freshest water, but I can get nowhere on time
Look at us now! Little post-modern babies mucking around
In twenty-first century filth, let’s all get our landfill
Watch for syringes in the park! Or else...
Sex with a condom, or else...
Not syphilis? Or dog piss, or even fine particulate matter in your lungs
We’ve got Monsanto on our brains! On our brains!
In your cup and in your blood, Dupont and the Gestapo
Dow chemical, carbide, petro plastic powdery nightmare
Aluminum what? Fluoridian mindfuck? It’s not the micro doseage
Of heavy metals...nope
It’s the cocktail of over two-hundred and forty
Household cleaners, gasoline additives, steroids and hormones for livestock
Such remnants of the party seen floating in your maniacal martini
A chlorinated beverage
A fluoridated ice cube
A herbicidal salad
A lithium sandwich
Or an oil-slicked six course, seafood delight from Alaska
Then put out the fucking trash...

The Flip Side
Find joy in the fact that you are meant to be here.
Nothing on earth can exist without function.
An earthworm may feed the birds, but it also feeds the soil.
A honeybee may give us honey, but it also pollinates life.
Your path is being laid before you, a testament to your destiny, if only one might learn from the past to ignore the future, therefore realizing divinity, one might free themselves from conformity to find their true identity.
So, find joy in the fact that you are loved. Love dwells in all the living, where tomorrow is but a man-made disease, right now should be your only focus.
Yesterday is of the substance of dreams, shrouded when consumed with fear, lucid when succumbing to it's lessons.
Find joy in the fact that you, like all things, must pass.
For who could be so vain to think that they may live forever?

To The Existentialists:
You wish it was all in your head-
So that one day, through much contemplation and circuitous debate, you might wake yourself from the nightmare of awkward social interaction.
A universe of your own creation? That's a big idea...
Projecting your fears and insecurities onto others? That's the paradox...
I wish enlightenment came in a bottle.
Or one size fits all.
Unfortunately, since we never wake from the human condition, we are left to struggle on with our journey towards a non-existent destination.
Doors open into more doors, with locks and keys and yet, more doors.
Eureka! One morning. You lose it the next.
And if you want to sit in a corner of a room, drinking coffee, reading books and concentrating on shedding your physical body, nobody can interfere. But someday you might see the light in shallow conversation. Someday, you just might let down your guard when a neighbour catches you on your way out the door.
When you brush off this interaction as mere idle chat, you've missed the point yet again.

RICH DICK
Dick is a robot
A puppet on a string
With a man-made heart
And a penchant for military spending
Dick is not a Christian
He is not a Muslim
And he is not a Jew
Dick is a businessman
With a top-secret briefcase
And a high-tech arsenal of lies
Dick is an old man
With a tough love policy
And no patience for the lazy
He believes in evolution
In domination
In survival of the fittest
Dick is not a fit man
He is overweight and balding
Dick is almost invisible
When times are tough and trying
But when the time is right for celebration
Dick is always there to gather applause
Dick is a robot
Powered by a lust for wealth
From time to time
Dick is guilty of the seven sins
But Dick doesn’t mind
Because most importantly
Dick is rich
And you are not

Paul, The Self-Appointed Apostle
1 Corinthians, Chapter 7
38: So that he who marries his betrothed does well; and he who refrains from marriage will do better. 39: A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. If the husband dies, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord. 40: But in my judgment she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I have the Spirit of God.
He thinks? He better be damned sure, because he wrote nearly all of the books contained in the Holy Bible. Who is this Paul anyways? Where is Jesus?

"For at the moment when the ego surrenders and gives up the battle, f inding that the attempt to make itself like God is bound to fail, the Self awakens to its own independence. In surrender the ego thoroughly accepts and admits its own finitude. But who accepts? Who knows the finitude of the ego? In reality, the Self has at last given up its identification with the ego, perceiving the ego as a finite object quite distinct from its own proper being. And in that instant the Self knows its own eternity and infinity, realizing that from the beginning the entire drama has had no more effect upon its essential nature than the ripples in a pool upon the sun whose reflected image they break and scatter."

Killing The Blame
A thousand messiahs
Pressed in a box
Along with the message and the
Key to these locks
The doors are all closed with no
Light coming in
Dogmatic, autocratic, righteousness in sin
Where have you been to, what time is it?
Oh my,
Two zero zero six is just a fucking lie
You wanna shoot at me? Fine
You wanna blame me? It’s mine
You wanna tear me to pieces with your big vengeful hands
You don’t...
Like it all that much when we come gather on your lands
You can’t understand
That no man commands
Or takes ownership over sea, sun and sands
The word? If you could state it
And not regurgitate it
Without the need to hate it
You might finally see the truth
The word? The word is love
And love shall rise above...for
Push will always come to shove
So we bless our enemies
